Poison nova

Okay this might be a silly thing to ask but if poison nova does x amount of damage over two seconds, does that mean there is nothing to be gained by spamming it more often? Do additional doses stack, or just reset the timer?|||There is some benefit to spamming it. In crowded areas, all the monsters may or may not get hit by a single volley, so you will want to cast it multiple times. However, the poison damage will not stack on enemies already afflicted, only reset the timer.
