Quick Ut Question for Summoner

I've been working on my summoner for awhile now and i've managed to outfit him to a ok degree more or less. I'm not rich but was able to get a fair amount of gear for him.

What I was wondering is what type of gear should I get for switch to do Ut with; since my current gear would get me slaughtered to a point since its more so Mf gear.

My setup ATM I use generally is

Level 87

Armor:Enigma

Helm:Shako(not socketed)

Gloves:Chancies

Boots:War Travs

Belt:Arach

Rings: 30 & 29 Nagels

Ammy: Low Mara's

Weapon:AOKL

Shield:Homonculus <"Um">

<>Switch<>

Shield:"Spirit" Monarch

Weapon: "Beast" Zerker Axe

<>Inventory<>

LowGheeds

4 NSummon Skillers

2 Curse Skillers (Use them to fill up space...dont need them for anything..)

Torch

Anni



As you can see the build is more or less Mf oriented (give or take), but I wanted to know what All I should look to change out to do Ut If I were to consider it.

I'm aware A summoner doesn't need as high a amount of resist's like most vocations, but know a decent amount would still be needed to make due.

Aside from Eq, I assume Outfitting the merc with CB and Reviving alot of Uders would suffice along with my minions to do Ut With the Summoner Build, Correct?

P.S- Whats the prefered curse to use for ubers? Decrep or as i've seen someone mention; Lifetap.|||More summoning skillers. Use a CTA. change switch shield to homu, too.

Boots need to be marrowalkers. Shako could use um / 15res jewl.

Rings can be switched to Sojs/ Bks's

Gheed can be thrown away so you get more summ sk's.

Merc needs Obediance / infy + Smoke / coh (prebuffing with treachery helps) and a Guilamme's face with a um / 15res add jewel.

Decrep is the basic curse for them but if you don't like feeding your merc tons of full rejuvs or mephi spawns LE, then use tap if needed.

I recall seeing a Ut vid with a summoner a long time ago but at the time didnt take much note as per what he/she was using,etc

I see what you mean though; I got the BeastZ Recently just to speed up mf'ing(got lucky and found a 35 life 15 res all gc i traded for what i needed :P )

I may go the CTA route tho and change things up a bit for UT since the beastz isnt rlly needed but use for fun tbh.

I don't got a extra COH laying around though so i'll have to find a armor for my merc; got a obediance tho and gullimans face.

I'll trade for some stuff though and see how it comes out.



P.S- I go max block, so my vitality isnt the best in the world; so a cta would be a welcome addition( had one but traded it off awhile back...)|||You can get a Lowish CTA for very cheap. Also, smoke is amazing armor if your use it with a treachery. Hell, treachery could be fine on its own.|||Heh, Ye a smoke is thankfully dirty cheap so that saves times as far as armor goes; the CTA I can get without too much issue as well. I just hope i got some socket quests left to socket my items with,haha
