What to level first?

Im doing a mf bone/skele mancer. Ive got 20 to raise skeleton and 1 to skeleton mastery. And im wondering what should i level first? Bone spear or skeleton mastery? Thanks in advance.|||Hard question. Not many bone/skeleton hybrids have been any good since they nerfed the marrowwalk bug. I would max mastery before using any bone so that at least one of your attacks will be full power. BTW, how many points do you plan to be able to put in spear/spirit/wall prison by the time the build is done?|||If you want to beat any uniques I'd finish skeleton mastery.|||Quote:

Im planing to max out the skeletons first, then i didnt know mastery or bone so i asked, and after that i was planing (when possible) to get deceprify and then just put everything into synergies to bone spear and after that get as much as posible to the the skeletons resistances. I think il do skeleton mastery.|||if you wanna go for the hybrid stuff poison is the stronger choice|||I would say always look to max Raise Skeleton First; Then Skeleton Mastery.

Also, as already suggested...a bone hybrid would not be that wise of a choice (tho you could prob do ok with it i suppose), but the poison hybrid is very effective for a hybrid build. Max RS,SM, then poison nova and its two synergies with the usual clay golem, and you should be good to go.

It all comes down to preference though....you either go the cookie cutter fishy with minions and Ce+Amp combo ( some may invest into bone armor with extra points ); or you got the poison hybrid ( You got some misc. types as well like the thorns variant..etc ).

Anyhow..max mastery first before looking to go your bone route or the perfered poison route. It was my first time trying it as well when i used it and i was surprised how effective it was myself.

your basically going to use nova's as needed to weaken the monsters around you ( or kill weaker monsters all together) and let your summons finish anything off or CE if needed. It's a petty solid variant if built right; just depends if you like the hybrid route or a more pure fishy route with CE+Amp.
