I have recently returned to playing diablo 2 and I was wondering, having started a necro, how to kill the ubers. I can pay for any gear required but I was wondering what skills, stats and items are required to kill them.
Help me please!|||Shako or 2 Nec skills 20 FCR 2 soc magic Circlet with UM UM or 100 life either one.
Enigma
Wizardspike(15 res jewel)
Homunculus UM
Arach
Trangs
Natalayas Boots or Tri Res boots (Fire and Light are most important)
Maras
2xsoj
Prebuff
AOKL
Boneflame or +4 RS/SM head.
This will give 212 all Resists without charms which will help to survive a bit longer from mephs conviction.
Merc
Kiras
CoH
Infinity
Skills
20 Raise Skeleton
20 Skeletal Mastery
20 Raise Skeletal Mages (SLOW,PMH)
1 Clay Golem and golem mastery
1 Summon Resist
1 Point Revive
1 point in choice of curse either get Decrep or stick with Amp. Decrep is worth it.
Start a game and keep restarting until you get a healthy wad of Urdars in river or durance. Urdars have a nice amount of crushing blow and try to get your full army of them.
Start the mini uburs when you see them.
1.Tele on top
2. Run back a little.
3. Cast Amp
4. Wait till they drop
On uburs
1. Go through portal
2. Tele away quickly towards the top to hopefully stop them all coming after you.
3. Run around to the corner and lure meph out a little
4. Tele on top
5. Run back a little bit
6. Cast Decrep
7.Hes dead so move onto diablo.
Repeat above steps except Amp is just as good as he doesnt have conviction.|||if you do a search on this forum for ubers, theres a few good threads that this question is already asked. with lots of details.
Edit - aside from wolf very nice short and skinny

Amp is not a good curse choice even against uber diablo or baal. Even in completely perfect gear as outlined above amp is just to risky. Why risk trashing an organ set by casting amp instead of decrep?
My advice below: http://diablo.incgamers.com/forums/s...38&postcount=3
The gear required for ubers is much much lower than is often quoted for summoners. It's actually a good way to get money for your first enigma.
