Hi,
I would like to know if usually with a summonmancer with homunculus you get the max block or only vit after the minimum for str and dext ?
How much dext do i need with lvl 89 necro ?|||It is a matter of preference. I always go max block because Necros do no get a lot of hp from points into vitality anyway, so I'd rather have a 75% chance to negate a physical attack than have 400 (making up numbers) more life. To figure out how much Dex you will need, go here.|||So for max block at lvl 89
With homunculus i need 201 dext ?|||That seems about right.|||I prefer vita because a summon necro almost never get hit anyways. Your bone armor will protect you in situations and plan on wearing shako for more protection but you will not get hit often.|||I go vitality because I only use it for summoning, though I'm hoping to come across +3 all skills Boneflame or Darkforce Spawn with +3 Summon (wishful thinking on my part lol)...I have faith crusader on switch...rarely get hit and can do ok damage when needed, higher fanatacism than with beast, plus bone armor...accompany that with a Might merc wearing Bramble w/Pride axe|||If you're not going to aggressively teleport, then go with vit.
I want speed because I'm a magic finder, so I take max block.
Either will work, but I block almost everything it seems like sometimes. Then whatever hit me as I teleported in is dead. I almost never use a healing pot.|||I play solely HC and i go max block on all my toons by default. Not sure if its necessarily better on a non tele nec than any other class, but there have been enough times that I've heard the block sound that I know it pays off. and its awesome on a telestomp nec.
and yeah, theoretically necs aren't supposed to get hit..but theory has rarely rezzed my HC necs once i get the dreaded "your deeds will be remembered" block has saved my arse more times then i can remember. But to each his own, im sure many vit players have had their butt saved by that extra life.
