What to put in the Arm of King Leoric?

I have an arm of king leoric on my fishymancer, with an open socked, what shall i put in it, an alresist (15@) jewel?|||Just fill a hole in your equipment.......So resists/FHR/Mana/Life whatever you can get. Personally Id just Prebuff with AOLK and switch to a battle gear with a wizardspike|||If you're at less than max resists, put a res all jewel in it. Fishy gear tends to have pretty good resists already, though (either you go Trang for cost effectiveness and get huge resists from that set or you go Homun and get still-pretty-big resists from that).

If not, then Lem and Ist are both options. Whatever HP you get from a jewel isn't going to make a huge impact one way or another, although a jewel with +20 mana would wind up giving you some 50 extra mana after a couple SoJ's and BO, and that makes an impact on regeneration, too. Problem is picking out a mod to accompany that since jewel suffixes are pretty much all lousy for casters (unless you're 7% or less FHR away from your next breakpoint).|||I usually do NOT socket AoKL at all. As XCodes says, there's nothing really out there that is going to greatly improve your character. I agree that if you don't have max resists, a res all jewel is a solid choice.

Even somthing like an Ist rune isn't going to help you out much, assuming you already have a good amount of mf. (Taking your mf from 300% to 325% is virtually meaningless).|||Don't summon necro's use AOKL as a switch weapon, only to cast summons? In that case it sounds completely useless to socket it..

it's like when a pally would use a 45@ base shield for his BO-switch spirit..|||Quote:

Not always. While the strength of each skeleton is determined at summoning, the number of skeletons you can bring with you is determined by your current skill level. In that case, keeping AoKL around can give you an extra skeleton and/or an extra mage.

Besides, there's not a whole lot for a summon necro to switch to. I suppose if you were a Poison/Summon Hybrid you could switch to a DWeb/Trang combo, but other than that summoners would prefer to keep their summons around.|||Quote:

I'd rather have 1-2 fewer skeletons than the chance to cast bone prison on aokl. Wizspike is a good and cheap switch weapon.

And to answer OP, nothing in aokl if you use it as a switch, and if you do use it as main weapon, anything to cover any deficient stats.|||Has anyone else noticed that in Patch 1.13 we summoners seem to be limited to 10 skeletons? Regardless of skill level. Well I mean I only have +6 (=26 total) to skellies right now but that used to be good for at least 12 of them I think.

Is it only me?|||It's only you. Level 26 Raise Skeleton is 10 skeletons. Level 27 is 11.|||I have also 11 skellies, and wizzy on switch is a good advise, thank you.

I guess a str. jewel or rune can help with for your reqs.
