Boner/Summoner still viable?

Right now I have mine at 80: Max RS, SM, Bspear, finishing up Bspirit.

My bone skills feel a little weak, Im thinking I should have put a little more points in them, but I wasted a few getting 1 point in almost every curse and summon skill.

Other than that, the skellys do good work of tanking while I use attract/amplify/CE to bring mobs down. Seems like I can ignore the bone skills altogether, but I just wanted something to do while my skellys were at work.

Maybe 1 pt RS, max SM? Rely on revives to tank?

Im fairly untwinked at this point, the best thing I have is homoculous and insight on my merc. What would be the best summon hybrid build to go. Im not against going poison either, it seems fun.|||Quote:

Hard to say what is best, but at least its still possible to make viable char for full games.

1-point Revive, 1-point Decrepify, rest points to Spear and synergies and 125 fcr with Enigma worked for me. Build needs very good merc of course too.|||I believe pure boner>>hybrid in this case. Just grab holy freeze merc to slow mobs down and tank. 125fcr is very easy to achieve too.|||To max damage you need 120 pt. At lvl 99 you have 110. You must invest few pts in curses, summon golem etc. Then there is no are for waste any skill point.

Most important for PvM build is good want for White RW. Perfect would be +3BS, +3revieve, +3decrep. Anyway +1 revieve and +1 decrep is better then +3BS

My best necro had about 6K bone spear damage and about 800 bone armor at lvl 93. It was not impressive, but min dmg = max dmg and it has 100% piercing attack. I had 21 (not sure) corpse explosion with 1 pt invested. That was enough to make him best keyhunter which I had.|||Quote:

HF merc is an awful idea, you'll lose way too many corpses and you'll to struggle to use CE. prison does what you want HF to do much, much better and it's a synergy.|||sooo, a prayer merc with insight?|||That is the best for PvM in my opinion, yes.|||wow, this is quite informational about necros.|||Quote:

according to the calculator that's lvl 50 bonespear with full synergies.

how do you get +30 to bs?|||3bone spear "white" wand +8

spirit shield +2

2necro/fcr amulet +2

2necro/20fcr tiara +2

enigma +2

bul-kathos rings +2

arach +2

torch 3

anni 1

skiller 9 = +33 to bone spear

you may also:

switch amulet and tiara with 3poison-bone magic ones (+1 +1)

use cta on switch (+1)

use boneflame instead of spirit (+1)

maybe skill shrine (+2)

for a total of 60lvl bonespear or so

and STILL 6k is lower than my merc's 4fps' attack average damage :trollface:
