iron golem questions

hey, i had some questions about the IG

i know mostly what works and doesnt work, but i had some other questions

for example if my merc uses insight and i let my IG use insight to, would the aura's stack?

and will my IG die when i die?|||Iron golem will die when you die as any summon does and also has a tendency to just die for the hell of it inbetween games or if he goes too far away although this is a rare occurance.

No the auras would not stack, The higher level aura will be the one that is active.

Another point, Why would you need more than level 15 meditation ?|||ok, then about fire golem, does his holy fire aura put the minions in fhr like sanctuary aura or not?

cuz that could then spare me a few deaths now and then when i tele in a cursed/aura group|||The pulse is too weak to do anything like that:P

Generally it just activates them and continues a crap pulse damage and I've never seen it put them into recovery.|||Usually people make IG after they get infy on their merc, giving up insight. I wouldn't make IG with all honesty. I know it's cheap but gumby is w--aayyyy better.|||If you go iron golem then make it out of ebeastz but make sure it does not die or you will have to make another one lol.|||Quote:

that would be kinda useless and a waste of a Ber rune, ii havent got atm

i mean i am a psnmancer and im not using summons + i play SP so i have to find the runes myself

and what is the use of infy on a merc?

but what about obedience IG, cheap, CB and mass dmg?|||IK maul is a brilliant Iron golem and cheap as chips. Hell it even has 2 free sockets you can use up to increase its effectiveness.

Eth's are my personal choice.



Anything expensive is a complete waste because Iron golem tends to disappear at random times and at each of your owns deaths.

Obedience is a sexi Iron golem giving nice damage,Crushing blow and 20-30 all resists which stacks with summon resists which can make it immune to elemental damage.|||hmmm ok, was thinking some more about it and i thought obedience would be better use at my merc because he hits more often and helps him staying alive

now to make my IG survive better, i was thinking about respeccing and maxing IG, SR, blood golem, golem mastery. then summoning IG and then respeccing again



would this work?

or would it just disappear when i respec again?|||I'm not 100% sure but I think the Iron golem is resummoned EVERY game at the skill levels currently active on the necromancer. If you respeced its likely that it would poof due to not having the skill anymore.

Could try holding a wand with Iron golem on the necro before hand.
