Yes but any ebeastz would work well anyways. As long as the golem does not die. Thats what you want to worry about.|||Quote:

When I summon an IG I will take my CG off the shortcut bar!!

Cheers|||I had a beast iron golem for a few weeks until I lost my connection during a Travincal run and then logged in dead. |||Im too chicken to make expensive IG's usualy i just do a windhammer IG for the cb.|||Beast IG does not pay off unless you're doing uber runs, the damage output grows slightly but the difference is not that big (because you're CE'ing anyway) for plain monsters. Insight is very cheap and useful rw for IG, I dont think any other rw would increase running speed more than insight.

Infinity, beast and pride are all good choices dmg-wise (pride increases dmg only however).

infinity frees merc's weapon slot for obedience or hone sundan while maintaining aura and you may carry beast yourself instead of hoto (consider getting some extra res and fcr from charms/gear to compencate hoto).|||Yeah I thought pride IG if you wanted to go for the aura option, then equip the beast yourself. But whatever really, the damage is still going to be good |||Infinity might better option dmg-wise (reducing defence works just greats dps-wise), not talking about crushing blow on it and massive -res effect (increases corpse explosion&mages damage too). Pride's bonus is big on paper, but stacked with might and fanaticism, will it outmatch -def effect? Depends on your gear and setup i guess.

Reducing def allows land CB hits from merc more often, thats why i would prefer infinity over pride, but i havent tested it yet.|||Agreed, infi is much better over pride if you had to decide over the two. Your skels will hit more often. If op wants to go down the aura 'omg lol woah!' route then beast on nec, pride golem, infi merc!
