Raise Skeleton + Conviction Aura

[:1]Hi everyone. I have a question, and I can't get an answer.

I am a Necromancer-Summoner. The main skill it Raise Skeleton + Skeleton Mastery. Now, I am looking for how to increase a damage of Skeletons. I took a merchant with Might Aura and I am using Amplify Damage.

Now I decided to buy Infinity weapon for my merchant (Ber+Mal+Ber+Ist), that has an option: Level 12 Conviction Aura When Equipped

This aura not just decrease the resist, but decrease the defense too. I think that could make my Skeletons more powerful. I decided to test this Aura in Single....

.... And I was disappointed. With this Aura or without it - my skeletons made to monsters the same damage. Isn't it working? Or may be I do not understand how does it work?

Can anybody explain me?|||Your skeles' AR should be below 5k so Infi should help them hit and thus indirectly increase their DPS, although it might not be immediately noticeable. In any case, Infi is the best choice since it increases your CE damage by lowering enemy fire resistance.|||Conviction lowers enemies defense but your skellies won't do more damage. They will hit enemies more often so dps will increase like hubb said. You could also use some skeleton mages or revives with magic attacks since they benefit more from conviction but skellies will still do the most dps.|||The big benefits of Infinity on a summoner are:

1.) CE is 50% fire damage, so it gets a boost with Conviction

2.) Your merc will do lots of damage + Crushing Blow against bosses, which makes corpses drop faster, which means more CE.

I use it on my summoner. In general, though, it is much better suited on an elemental based character.|||Mainly infinity benefits your corpse explosion and mages but its still nice to help skeles because of the low ar they have.|||I have a necro summoner too and his might merc uses Insight to provide mana for casting CE. They handle any area in the game just fine.

Though when fighting bosses I put Infinity on him and there is imho considerable improvement in killing speed. Its about lowering enemy's def and res, not about higher damage of skellies .)
