So i had the idea to make a venomancer, the only necro ive never done before, and i wanted to have the nearly best poisonnova dmg that is possible.
So my items are :
Helm : 3 pnb, 20 fcr, 5/5 poison die ( I bought 5 of them for the 2 sox chance and got 5 times 1 sox, was about to kill myself )
Armor : Perfect Bramble with 50% ( You dont want to know how long it took to get this )
Weapon : Perfect Deathsweb with 5/5 poison die
Shield : Trang-Ouls with 5/5 poison lvlup
Belt : Trang-Ouls
Gloves : Trang-Ouls
Boots : Wartravler 50% ( Love them for the mf, dont have tri-res boots atm but im in search^)
Rings : 1x Soj + 1x Bk5
Amu : Mara 30 ( soon, groo, soon )
Cta 6 + Lidless ( cant carry a spirit cause high str. )
+ 9 pnb skillers , anni and torch
Stats :
105 str ( with items )
215 dex ( maxblock at 80 )
322 Vitality -> 952 hp
Resistances :
71 fire
69 cold
64 lightning
75 poison
My poison nova does 15378-15762 dmg, but thats not the optimum, since i could swap the amu with a 3pnb + 10fcr ( my res. would kill me then until i have nice tri res boots ) and a fu***** 2 sox Circlet for another 5/5 poison.
Well. Thats how it is atm.
My Questions are the following :
1. Im really not sure which merc would end up being the best for me, either the act 2 might merc with ??? weapon ( obedience, doom, botd, i dont know ) with eth forty and eth andy OR ! act 1 with Harmony ( i dont have enigma, would be fast ? ) or ICE ( slow ? ), forty + andy.
I really dont know which merc with which equipment to choose.
2. I read somewhere that the Firegolem is an option to the clay golem, but im not sure about that. The little holy fire is good for pvp but for pve? clay slows and has the most hp.
3. Are there any OTHER options, such as 20/20 monarch + arach + trang gloves > tri-trang, that are better then my current equipment ?
I really want to dish out the max possible with my little poison nova

Sincerely|||Just build a harmony in a hydra bow with wooping 211 ed. atleast +6 valkyre, was needed.
Im running fast around now, but not sure whether this was the best option or not

( -> rogue merc )|||personally i use infinity on my TO psn nec's merc for 3 reasons
1/ merc does more dmg
2/ increases CE dmg which i use also
3/ benefits the party overall (it never hurts to have extra green paint coverage...)|||ya for the maximum amount of dmg for your poison nova, u should lean more towards infinity on your merc so it lowers everyones resistance.
also like leohappy says, it makes your ce awsome in crowds|||Conviction is great for increasing CE damage but doesn't affect poison resistance.|||also i wouldn't bother with fire golem. the aura is useless because poison kills in pvm and fire absorb is not a big deal. clay golem slows down ,and is immune to cold.
you can always maximize dmg by using soc equips with facets, but why bother 15k is plenty. i got 10k on my trangs nec and he kills pretty fast already.|||Just how much damage does a bramble actually add? Because I was thinking wouldn't an enigma be better so you can teleport around and nova groups of mobs?|||On his setup it's a ~36% increase in damage, so quite a bit. It's still definitely better to have Enigma, especially with the amount of damage he already has.|||tweaked non bramble necs have about 10k dmg, with bramble 15k. is the difference worth it? if i were pvp i'd use both enigma and bramble for different matchups. pvm it's your call. 10k is still a lot of dmg, considering the -res. it's a bit harder to get a decent fcr rate with dw however.|||Gumby is the best golem to use... and only needs 1 point into it and summon resist to be useful. I went with maxxed skeletons and rest into mastery with my Venomancer...I've tried the rouge and even the rust bucket and flamer golems before...and find the skeletons are alot more useful for a 2ndary form of damage...but mainly used as a meat shield to go along with my Waheed merc.
