I tried searching but came up with nothing on a necro utilizing both CE and poison nova.
Is there a good way to do this or are these skills too far away in terms of equipment, and play style?
I'm open to suggestions and input.
Thanks

Their equipment is on many points the same as both focus on +skills in the p&b tree. Note however that the poison skills need to be invested into both skillwise and gearwise to get really high damage, while CE is useful even at a low investment. As nurman says; poisonmancers will commonly have such high +skills that CE makes a decent backup even that 1 point. If it's not mentioned in the guides directly I'm sure they just assumed that you'd use it as a backup anyway.|||I never needed to put more than one point in mine. You might if your lacking alot of +skill gear.|||Ah the memmories...
Had build one in a previous seasson and he was force to be recon with, plus the great fun

Skills looked something like this:max poison nova and all sinergies, max ce, lower resist dont know exactly but it was lowering around -60 with plus skill, and had some in bone wall as sinergie to bone armor. The idea was to cast LR curse and poison nova them, the rest are gone with CE ofc, and since Ce has fire dmg as well it combines fine with LR.As for the efficiency i did not chek time for CS clean, but up to 4 players monsters were droping dead in seconds or something, with a little help of CE.With more players CE take more bigger role.
All in all deadly and fun build, my recomendation for it.|||It doesn't harm to max CE if its not HC you dont really need any defensive skills that +skills cant provide, bigger area that might mean you kill enemies before they get too close and its more fun than any other skill might provide.|||Most Nova users do utilize CE anyways. It's the most efficient skill in the Necromancer's arsenal.|||Quote:

It's like paladin's redemption / vigor / cleansing combined, whatever character you make, you need 1p in those skills.|||Note that if you manage to put more points in CE, the area it affects can get VERY large.
Lets say you put 1 point and use +skills to get to 20 points.
Thats a 9 yard radius, for pi * 9^2 square yards of area, which comes out to around 254 square yards.
If you can get it to 40 with 20 base and some +skills, that is pi * 15.6^2 = around 764 square yards... thats HUGE.
