A Matador Suggestion

Well, I had a few thoughts on "improving" Patsy's Matador... While I'm unsure of where the idea originated, I have a few suggestions on how to make it "better".

Now, if we set a few goals... 75%@ in Hell (or 175%@ including 30% from quests), using Bramble (w/ lv 21 thorns) and Edge, and 80+ Minions (for spread of thorns in an insane manner). Now that is over with... now to skills.

For our skills we have to attempt to get 80+ minions. In other words... REVIVES! While, 20 hard points may seem "stupid" When you have 50+ lackadaisical minions that run around constantly, you get lots of damage.

So, this is what I want the skills to look like...

Summon Tree:

Skeleton Mastery: 20

Raise Skeleton: 20

Magi: 20

CG: 1

GM: 1

SR: 1

BG: 1

IG: 1

Revives: 20

So far, 85 pts.

Curses:

Amplify Damage: 1-20 (Depends on how much of a radius you would like. I prefer a GIGANTIC radius so all of my thorns gets a super benefit)

PnB-Optional

Teeth: 1

CE: rest (Depends if you don't like the kill speed or not)

Now that accounts for all of the points. (put the last 5 from Amp anywhere you please?) Now to make them get alot better.

Now, let's say we decide to use Bramble+Edge on Act 1 Fire Rouge, and give her a Vampgaze to suffice for life leech. There is the lv 36 thorns.

And, if we decide the Necro's gear...

Enigma

122%... not enough... sooo add 2 15%@ jewels on the wand and an Um on the shield. That just sky rocketed to 172%.

And the charms...

Since we aren't MFing, we don't need space (if necessary, drop items and use TP in your belt)

Anni+Hellfire... that's a space of 1 Skiller...

so 9x Smon Skillers

1x 3%@+

and the last 9 are up to you.

That makes for a total of...

175%@+

and +29 to summon skills.

OH WAIT! We didn't add our +6 to Revives :O Our end result for skill +'s is... (for summons)

49 Magi

30 (each golem, SR, and GM)

Now, if we use simple math... (using Arreat Summit look for the 3 levels then add 1 skele pattern...)

55+19(skele)+19(magi)+Golem of choice+Merc (even though not a minion...) which adds up to a grand total of... 95! 95 ways other than you to spread your thorns damage. Talk about lag.

Now, any doubts upon this build now?

Keep in mind, I HAVE created a Matador (with only skels+magi) and quit at lv 67 to work on my Poisonmancer (trying for 99) and my brother thought it was his (he is 9)... and he deleted it... Lucky no good gear was on it... but nonetheless, Imagine 94 minions at your command all spamming 1650% (3300% actually w/ Amp) of the damage returned. Add spirit of barbs... (lv 13)

290% so 1940%x2=3880% of damage returned from 94 minions.. and merc. Wow, how fun does that sound? You could add yourself and use alot of vita charms and life jewels/PRubies/Jah.

I acheived each goal, and still kept the "survivablity" there. ofc stat points are based upon your Enigma aromor, and Hellfire+Anni stat boosts...

*Note: All of this math is based on Arreat Summit's patterns, if I miscalculated ANYTHING please tell me and I'll fix it right away.

**Note 2: I do realize that %dmg returned isn't the fastest killing thing in the world but I'm only trying to make the matador more inviting to our "biased" or "newer" players.|||I just tested this last night, here are my findings.

The skeles and magi are reduced by 1. so 18 magi+skele.

Also, the kill speed is pretty decent (tested in the Pits) the main thing is to not care what you revive but how much (quantity over quality here)

Even when my team was amped no more than 1 died.

I think its safe to say this build is viable. Only when used correctly.|||Is elemental damage returned to the attackers?|||You are not able to revieve 40+ monster every 3 minutes. Maybe if you wish revieve fallens it would be possible, but this kind of revieves are useless. 20 pts in revieve is useless. For effective use of all investet revieve points you need revieve new minion more often then every 4 seconds.

10 wraith/ghosts let you safe teleport in most areas.

10 Udars + 10 frenzytaurus (or another high dmg like vipers) kill every monster very fast.

Ele damage is not returned.|||Umm, if you read "Quantity over quality here" Your opinion on revives doesn't matter when you have over 90 minions spamming thorns damage everywhere and killing everything (including the ele damage users from their damage).|||So, did a Chaos Run. Again worked like a charm. I skipped up to the portal things... didn't fee like running everywhere to find corpses. Took less than 3 mins on last revie to get Diablo, and Diablo was fast enough after I revived a few monsters I corralled near his spawn point...
